Halloween Scavenger Hunt: Find the Ghost Candy
- 10 riddle cards
- 20–30 minutes
- Ages 5–10
- Works in any home
For the Ghost Master (that's you)
- Print page 2 and cut out the 10 cards along the dashed lines.
- Hide each card at the spot listed in the table below. Each riddle points to the next hiding place.
- Hide a small treat, such as candy or a toy, where only you know. Keep it ready to hand over.
- Give Card 1 to the players. They solve the riddle, find the next card, do the little task and write down the letter.
- After Card 10, the 10 letters spell the secret password. Players whisper it to you to claim the treat.
Younger kids need a grown-up to read the riddles aloud. No mailbox or jacket? Swap in the doormat, a bag or any other spot, and change the riddle to match.
